As announced last week, the Bristol Honda Pitbulls are aiming to raise funds for those affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine when the Chelmsford Chieftains visit Bristol on Sunday night by hosting a ‘Peace Not War’ game. In order to raise funds, the club will be wearing special one-off jerseys that will all be sold on the night, the shirt off his back will run as normal and every other jersey will be raffled off following the game. The club will also play the Ukrainian national anthem before the game.

Each jersey will cost £100 and every penny of that will go directly to the DEC (Disaster Emergency Committee), with the Pitbulls donating the manufacturing cost of the jerseys. Below is all you need to know to enter and potentially win yourself a one-off game worn jersey.

  • When you enter the rink on Sunday, visit the supporters table and pick up a raffle ticket. You’ll be able to enter up until the end of the game.
  • Following the game, the players will head into the bar and the raffle will commence.
  • Tickets will be pulled out one-by-one until there are no jerseys remaining
  • If your ticket number is a winner, you will be able to choose which jersey you’d like of those left and be able to get a photo with alongside the player with the jersey.
  • The £100 payment will be taken on the night if you are successful
  • If any jerseys are left following the raffle, they will go on sale online during the following week

As well as the jersey raffle, the players will be remaining in the bar in order for a squad signing. A3 prints of the team photo will be available at the game, free for season/half season ticket holders.
