The Bristol Honda Pitbulls have agreed to add Bailey Hind-Pitcher to the two-way arrangement with the Oxford City Stars.

BHP is based in Bristol and will remain with the National League roster but will be released to play for the Stars as the schedule allows.

The two-way agreement has already proved useful, with Joe Llewellyn, Aaron Moody and Tom Stephens all seeing plenty of ice so far in NIHL 1 South.

Jamie Elson agreed that in the long-term, getting the ice time is key for Bailey. He said “Bailey and I spoke recently and we both agreed that as part of his long-term development, it’s important to still be getting regular game time minutes. The two-way agreement we have set up with Oxford will help him get this. Bailey will still train full time with us and still be in our line-up, but we will be picking games where he can go and feature for Oxford and help them in Division One and play a bigger role. Bailey is still young and has plenty of time on his side.

“We believe Bailey has the potential to have a big future and want him to be part of our Bristol Pitbulls setup for the next few years. We need to support his development needs and I think this is the ideal situation for all parties. I know he’s looking forward to playing for Oxford and being a big part of their line-up and we hope that it will be a positive step for him. I’m sure Oxford will look after him and help BHP develop in his time there.”
