The Bristol Honda Pitbulls are delighted to announce the signing of British forward Ewan Hill, who joins after spending last year between Romford and Streatham.
Hill, 21, featured six times for Raiders IHC in the National League, accruing a goal and an assist whilst scoring 21 and adding 29 assists in 28 NIHL 1 South games between Streatham & the Romford Buccaneers.
The young forward spent 22/23 in North America, representing the Wisconsin Rapids RiverKings in the USPHL, he’s also spent time in Sweden playing for Solleftea HK in 21/22. Ewan will wear the number 59 for the Pitbulls.
Ewan Hill, “Since I first spoke to Bari and got an insight into his plans and what he wants to accomplish with the Pitbulls, I knew this would be the right move for me. A change of environment and playing in a new city will bring a lof of excitement for me and I can’t wait to get started. I’ve heard that Bristol is a beautiful city with some excellent culture. I experienced playing in The Pound last season as a visitor and it was extremely loud. I’m looking forward to having those fans on my side this season and I’d love to give them something to roar about.
“I like to think of myself as a playmaker, I like to provide my teammates with scoring chances as well as looking to find the net myself. I can bring the aggressive side of the game and battle it out, not being afraid to through my weight around. Most importantly is the aim to bring succes and contribute to wins in Bristol colours.”
Bari McKenzie on the signing, “Ewan is a big boy who has a very good skill set. The opportunity to bring him to Bristol was a no-brainer as he has so much upside to his game. He hasn’t been giving a regular opportunity at the National League level so with him being giving this opportunity you will see a very talented player in Bristol. Ewan is a guy I have spoken to from the start and believe he will be a gem for the club and I’m extremely happy to have him on board”.
