Weekend Preview : Basingstoke Bison and Telford Tigers

The Drive Bristol North Pitbulls are back in action this Saturday as we head to Basingstoke to take on the Bison before we host the Telford Tigers back at The Pound for our Remembrance game this Sunday.
Saturday 8th November – Basingstoke Bison vs Bristol Pitbulls
After a mixed result last weekend for the Bristol Pitbulls, they return this weekend with a trip to Basingstoke for a 6:30pm face off. Having only played 8 games so far this season, the Bison currently sit at the bottom of the league with four points. They’ve had a difficult start to the season having lost 6 out of the 8 games played, most recently losing against MK Lightning last weekend 6-4. The Bison will be needing a win and will put up a good fight for your Pitbulls. #22 Brendan Sellan holds top scorer for the Bison with 4 goals in 8 games played as well as top assists with 5 in 8 games. Another player to watch is Thomas Relf who has been playing well for the Bison so far this season also scoring 4 in 8.
Sunday 9th November – Bristol Pitbulls vs Telford Tigers
On Sunday we are back at The Pound as we take on the Telford Tigers for our Remembrance game. Telford have had a relatively strong start to the season with 8 wins in 14 games played. They currently sit 4th in the league and they will be wanting to keep up their wins after beating Leeds Knights 6-1 last weekend. A strong player for Telford has been #23 Thomson with 13 goals in 14 games played so he will be a big player to watch on Sunday. Furthermore, Henderson has been playing very well collecting 18 assists in his 14 games played. Telford will put up a strong fight so the Pitbulls will need to be top of their game.

This weekend you can bid for your favourite player’s remembrance jersey during the game! Winners will get their jersey and a photo with their chosen player after the final buzzer in the bar.
