Weekend Preview : MK Lightning

This weekend the Drive Bristol North Pitbulls have a double header against MK Lighting. We start off at the Pound this Saturday before heading up to Milton Keynes on Sunday. 

Saturday 6th December – Bristol Pitbulls vs MK Lightning

We welcome MK Lightning back to The Pound this Saturday for our third meeting this season hoping to repeat the last game, a 5-2 win to the Pitbulls. MK had an unsuccessful run last weekend losing against Romford, 9-5, and then taking a close overtime loss against the Sheffield Steeldogs. They currently sit 5th in the league with 23 points so are needing some strong wins to secure a higher position. #23 Gabaj, has made himself known as a powerful player for the Lightning scoring 13 goals in 22 games, 3 from last weekend,  followed by Jordan Cownie scoring 10. Gabaj has also proven himself collecting 21 assists.

Air the Bear 

The Bristol Pitbulls have teamed up with Southwest Hospice for this year’s Air the Bear! Bring a new, wrapped teddy bear to this game and when the Pitbulls score their first goal, or at the final buzzer, throw your bear onto the ice! 🐻

All bears will be collected and given to the hospice for children and their siblings. 

Merch 

Our merch table is located to the left of the entrance of the rink so you can’t miss it! You can purchase hats, jerseys, t-shirts and more to show your support for the Pitbulls. 

Competitions : 50/50 and Chuck the Puck  

You can win an exciting cash prize when you enter our 50/50 draw, tickets will be at the merch table to buy. For anyone who wants some fun you can buy your foam pucks from the merch table. Be ready to chuck them onto the ice during the 2nd intermission in an attempt to get the closest to the face off spots to win a prize!

Signing table 

Both Jake Bricknell and Reece Cochrane will be in the bar after the game signing autographs. Remember to bring any merch of photos you’d like signed! 

Sunday 7th December – MK Lightning vs Bristol Pitbulls  

The Drive Bristol North Pitbulls will be heading over to MK for a 5:30pm face off.
