Weekend Preview : Swindon Wildcats and Solway Sharks

We are back in action tomorrow at the Better Link Centre against the Swindon Wildcats. We face off against the Wildcats at 7:30pm before we return to The Pound on Sunday to host the Solway Sharks. 

Friday 27th February – Swindon Wildcats vs Bristol Pitbulls 

The Drive Bristol North Pitbulls take on the Swindon Wildcats in our sixth meeting against the side. The Cats currently sit top of the table and have qualified for play offs, collecting 71 points so far. After a 5-6 OT loss in our last meeting with The Cats, the Pitbulls will be looking for redemption. Ones to watch include Vande Meerakker who has had a strong season with 41 assists as well as Villegas, scoring the winning goal in our last meeting. In a 4-2 win against The Bison last weekend, Villegas claimed two goals and gained an assist in a 4-3 loss against Hull.

Sunday 1st March – Bristol Pitbulls vs Solway Sharks

On Sunday we face off against the Solway Sharks for the fifth time this season who currently sit 9th in the league with 38 points. The Pitbulls will be looking to grab their third win against the side. Some stand out players for the Sharks include #9 Stewart with 29 goals scored, as well as #23 Yantsis with 24 in 28. Last weekend, Solway took a 5-3 win against Leeds with 2 goals from Hodge and then faced a 3-2 SO loss against the Bison, with a goal from Buesa.
