Weekend Preview : Leeds Knights and Telford Tigers

It’s the final weekend that the Drive Bristol North Pitbulls will hit the ice this season and we finished with an exciting game against the Leeds Knights before we take the trip to Telford on Sunday.
Saturday 21st March – Bristol Pitbulls vs Leeds Knights
It’s our last game at The Pound this weekend against the Leeds Knights. Pitbulls will be looking for their second win in five games played against the qualified side. Some stand out players for the Knights include #12 Kieran Brown with 35 goals as well as #78 Liam Peyton with 23 goals. Last weekend the Knights took a 3-8 loss against the Romford Raiders with goals coming from Brown, Sobchak and Dunn. However they managed to seal a win against Telford on Sunday (2-4) with another two goals from Brown. The Pound is sold out and the atmosphere promises to be electric for the final weekend!

The puck drops at 7pm with doors opening at 6pm for entry. This game is SOLD OUT so please only travel if you have a ticket!

Movie Night 🎞️🍿
It’s movie night as The Pound with players wearing their featured Semi-Pro jerseys in our final themed night. There will be an auction in the bar after the game to bid on your favourite players’ jerseys!

Our merch table is located to the left of the entrance of the rink so you can’t miss it! You can purchase hats, jerseys, t-shirts and more to show your support for the Pitbulls.
Competitions : 50/50 and Chuck the Puck
You can win an exciting cash prize when you enter our 50/50 draw, tickets will be at the merch table to buy. For anyone who wants some fun you can buy your foam pucks from the merch table. Be ready to chuck them onto the ice during the 2nd intermission in an attempt to get the closest to the face off spots to win a prize!
Signing table
The whole team will be in the bar after the game signing autographs. Remember to bring any merch of photos you’d like signed!
Sunday 22nd March – Telford Tigers vs Bristol Pitbulls
To conclude the Pitbulls season, they take on their fifth game against the Telford Tigers this season and are looking for their third win against the side. Telford sit 7th in the standings with 57 points, in a qualifying position and have had some stand out players. Last weekend Pitbulls stole the win in a 6-5 OT win. With 2 assists from Henderson and an early goal from Rose it was a tense game from the beginning. Telford took a loss again against the Leeds Knights (2-4) with goals coming from Thomson and Newell. #23 David Thomson has been a strong player for The Tigers having scored 47 goals for the side as well as #98 Tate Shudra, scoring 20 goals so far. Furthermore, #11 Henderson has collected 77 assists. This could be another close game between the sides.
