Weekend Preview : Telford Tigers and Hull Seahawks

This weekend the Drive Bristol North Pitbulls are back in action facing off against the Telford Tigers before we take the trip to Hull on Sunday. 

Saturday 14th March – Bristol Pitbulls vs Telford Tigers

The Pitbulls take on their fourth game against the Telford Tigers this season and are looking for their second win against the side. Telford sit 7th in the standings with 56 points, in a qualifying position and have had some stand out players. Last weekend in a 5-8 win against Solway, 2 goals came from Capps as well as goals from Ferguson and Newell in a 3-4 loss against Hull Seahawks. #23 David Thomson has been a strong player for The Tigers having scored 45 goals for the side as well as #98 Tate Shudra, scoring 20 goals so far. Furthermore, #11 Henderson has collected 73 assists. This will be a competitive game against the sides.

Our merch table is located to the left of the entrance of the rink so you can’t miss it! You can purchase hats, jerseys, t-shirts and more to show your support for the Pitbulls. 

Competitions : 50/50 and Chuck the Puck  

You can win an exciting cash prize when you enter our 50/50 draw, tickets will be at the merch table to buy. For anyone who wants some fun you can buy your foam pucks from the merch table. Be ready to chuck them onto the ice during the 2nd intermission in an attempt to get the closest to the face off spots to win a prize!

Signing table 

The whole team will be in the bar after the game signing autographs. Remember to bring any merch of photos you’d like signed! 

Sunday 15th March – Hull Seahawks vs Bristol Pitbulls  

The Pitbulls then take the trip to Hull for a 5:30pm face off at the Hull Ice Arena. The Seahawks have had a very strong season, currently qualifying for play offs in 3rd position. This will be the fifth time the sides meet this season and both will be looking to grab their third win. #73 Emil Svec has been exceptional for the Seahawks scoring 37 goals last season as well as 2 last weekend in a 2-5 loss against the Phantoms. Furthermore, Corneil has been playing strong also securing a hat trick in their meeting against the Telford Tigers last weekend.
