JAKE PRICE RETURNS FOR 26/27

The Drive North Bristol Pitbulls are delighted to announce the return of defenceman Jake Price for the 2026/27 season.
Jake joined the Pitbulls late last season and quickly became an important part of the defensive group. Bringing a wealth of experience from both the UK and North America, Jake’s presence on and off the ice made an immediate impact during the closing stages of the campaign.
Born in Solihull, Price spent five seasons with the Telford Tigers, making more than 230 appearances at National League level and playing a key role in a championship-winning programme. Prior to establishing himself in the UK game, Jake also gained valuable experience in North America with the Niagara Whalers and Pittsburgh Vengeance.
A physical and dependable defenceman, Jake is known for his ability to play tough minutes, win battles along the boards and provide stability in his own zone. His leadership, experience and defensive awareness make him a valuable asset to the Pitbulls blue line heading into the new season.
Richie Hargreaves commented:
“Jake joined us late last season and quickly showed exactly what he brings to a team. He’s a hardworking, defensively reliable defenceman who makes a great first pass, plays with composure under pressure and is strong both in front of our net and along the boards.
His experience and physical presence are invaluable, and we’re delighted to have him back in a Pitbulls jersey for the 2026/27 season.”
On returning to Bristol, Price said:
“I’m really pleased to be back with the Pitbulls for another season. I enjoyed my time here last year and felt welcomed by everyone involved with the club. We’ve got a great group of players and I’m looking forward to getting back on the ice and helping the team compete this season.”
Everyone at the Drive North Bristol Pitbulls would like to welcome Jake back to the Pound and we look forward to seeing him back in Pitbulls colours for the 2026/27 season.
