LUCAS PRICE JOINS FOR THE 26/27 SEASON

The Drive North Bristol Pitbulls are delighted to announce the signing of forward Lucas Price for the 2026/27 season.

With Jake Price already committed to the Pitbulls for the upcoming campaign, the club is pleased to add another member of the Price family as Lucas makes the move to Bristol for the first time.

The Solihull-born forward arrives with valuable experience despite his young age. Having progressed through the Nottingham IHA pathway, Lucas spent four seasons within the Telford Tigers organisation, gaining experience in both senior and development hockey, including exposure to NIHL National competition and playoff hockey.

Last season, Lucas took the opportunity to focus on gaining more ice time and further developing his game with the Solihull Barons. The move proved to be a successful one, as he recorded 12 goals and 26 assists for 38 points in 28 league games, finishing amongst the team’s leading scorers and demonstrating his offensive ability and hockey intelligence.

Richie Hargreaves commented:

“Lucas is another player who comes to the club with a real understanding of his role, something that was important for us to identify when building this year’s roster. Despite still being a young player, Lucas already brings valuable experience, having spent time in the Telford programme and gained exposure to playoff hockey. He plays with energy, has a tremendous work ethic and is a player who wants to improve every time he steps on the ice. He made the decision to take a step back last season to focus on getting more ice time and developing his game, and that proved to be a great decision. He had an excellent season with Solihull, finishing as one of their top scorers and showing the offensive ability he can bring to a team.
Again, we’ve spoken a lot about the importance of depth throughout our roster this season. Being able to add a player like Lucas, who already has valuable experience despite his age, only strengthens us further. We’re looking to make a strong team even stronger all the way through our lineup, and Lucas is another important piece of that puzzle. We’re excited to welcome Lucas to Bristol and look forward to seeing him continue his development in a Pitbulls jersey.”
