Robertson Returns to BS10

The Drive Bristol North Pitbulls are thrilled to announce the return of Scottish forward Caly Robertson for the 2025/26 NIHL season, bringing even more depth and balance to the squad.

A familiar face to Pitbulls fans, Caly was part of our inaugural NIHL season, where he quickly became a fan favourite. That year, the young Scotsman led the team with 32 goals and 60 points, finishing just two behind import Nik Coric (62 points). After that standout campaign, he moved on to Milton Keynes but now he’s back in Bristol, ready to pick up where he left off.

Robertson’s return adds another layer of strength to an already deepening roster. His speed, scoring touch, and physical edge make him a versatile weapon who can slot anywhere in the top six, while his proven chemistry with John Dunbar brings instant familiarity to the forward group.

Richie H spoke about the signing and what it means for the team’s growing depth:

“I’m excited to have Caly back. Honestly, I was gutted when we lost him after that first season — he was tremendous for us. Bringing him back now adds real depth and competition throughout our lineup. We’ve been building a stronger, more balanced team each week, and Caly gives us even more flexibility up front. He’s got pace, he’s gritty, and he’s not shy about shooting the puck. Having someone with his experience and attitude strengthens our top six and pushes everyone around him to be better. With Bari’s departure, this was an important move to keep that depth across all lines. Caly is buzzing to get started, and I’m looking forward to seeing him back in the lineup this weekend.”

Welcome home, Caly — once a Dog, always a Dog! 🐾💪
