Weekend Preview : Leeds Knights

This weekend, the Drive Bristol North Pitbulls have a double header against the Leeds Knights. We start off at the Pound this Saturday before heading up to Leeds on Sunday. 

Saturday 17th January – Bristol Pitbulls vs Leeds Knights 

After a four point weekend the Bristol Pitbulls hit The Pound again for what will hopefully be another electric game. Last time these two sides met in September the Pitbulls fell to two 8-2 losses so will be ready for a comeback. Leeds Knights currently sit 3rd in the league with 43 points, having a strong season so far. Kieran Brown, #12 for the Knights currently holds the title for top goals and assists scoring 25 goals in 29 games and racking up another 25 assists. Another one to watch is Matt Bissonnette collecting 22 assists in 28. Last weekend the Knights fell to a 3-5 loss to the Peterborough Phantoms with 2 last minute goals from the opposition. This looks to be an entertaining game as we can expect both sides to battle through until the last minute.

The puck drops at 7pm with doors opening at 6pm for entry. Our merch table is located to the left of the entrance of the rink so you can’t miss it! You can purchase hats, jerseys, t-shirts and more to show your support for the Pitbulls. 

Competitions : 50/50 and Chuck the Puck  

You can win an exciting cash prize when you enter our 50/50 draw, tickets will be at the merch table to buy. For anyone who wants some fun you can buy your foam pucks from the merch table. Be ready to chuck them onto the ice during the 2nd intermission in an attempt to get the closest to the face off spots to win a prize! 

Signing table 

Both Max Wigfield and Cam Hamill will be in the bar after the game signing autographs. Remember to bring any merch or photos you’d like signed! 

Sunday 18th January – Leeds Knights vs Bristol Pitbulls  

The Drive Bristol North Pitbulls will be heading over to The Castle for a 4:15pm face off. Updates will be available across social platforms and the NIHL website so be sure to keep updated!
