POOLE RETURNS FOR HIS THIRD SEASON

The Drive North Bristol Pitbulls are delighted to announce that Josh Poole has re-signed with the club for the 2026/27 season.

Still just 18 years old, Josh returns for his third season with the Pitbulls as he continues his exciting development. A product of the Cardiff junior development system, Poole has embraced every opportunity to test himself at senior level and continues to show why he has such a bright future in the game.

Last season saw Josh split his time between the Cardiff Juniors and Bristol, with increased ice time during the latter stages of the campaign allowing him to showcase his potential. His confidence grew with every game, and his performances demonstrated his willingness to learn and compete at this level.

Returning for another season, Josh will be looking to push for a regular place in the line-up while adding even greater competition across the squad.

Josh Poole commented :

“I’m really pleased to be back with Bristol for another season. I’ve learned so much over the last couple of years, and I’m grateful for the opportunities the coaches have given me. I’m looking forward to continuing my development, working hard every day and competing for a bigger role with the team this season.”

Assistant Coach John Dunbar added :

“Josh has a lot of strong attributes to his game, and towards the end of last season he really started to build confidence with consistent ice time. He brings great enthusiasm, a strong work ethic and a real willingness to learn every day. We’re excited to see him continue his development and look forward to what he can bring to the team this season.”
