The Bristol Honda Pitbulls are delighted to announce the contract extension of Scottish blue-liner Reece Cochrane for two more years.

Cochrane has penned an extension seeing him remain a Pitbulls for 2024/25 and 25/26 seasons after joining from the Fife Flyers of the Elite League in the summer.

The Kirkcaldy born Cochrane has 4 goals and 9 assists in 38 games this season and has seen an upturn in ice time playing alongside Tanner Butler on the back end.

Reece becomes the fourth player committed for next season, along with Mason Lipsey, Jay Warren & Sam Smith who all are entering the second year of two-year contracts signed last summer.

On his return, Reece said “We haven’t had the best year, but it has been a great experience playing in front of a sold-out crowd nearly every Saturday night. The fans are amazing and always bring the noise no matter what! It has been a pleasure to play in front of them week after week.

“Bristol is a great city and there’s so much to do. This was made clear from day one and the city has truly lived up to my expectations. I couldn’t have asked for a better city to call home and I look forward to doing that for another two years!”
